Good morning, I would like to say thank you for an great blog about a subject I’ve had an curiosity in for some time now. I’ve been browsing in and reading through the responses and just wanted to express my many thanks for giving me some very useful reading material. did L died in the death note: the last name? in the end when he is eating chocolate and see the picture of the old man… email me ok?

I recently watched the movie as well. The only thing I didn’t understand (cause my Japanese isn’t that good ; is why L died.

I agree that they did a very good job at combining the whole manga into the movie

Yesss! I so agree this film is so much better than the first! However, I love both films equally.

The only closest thing I ever saw to escaping death is to write the names within 0.~ seconds on two death notes. ”

“How to Use It XV

When the same name is written on more than two Death Notes, the Note which was first filled in will take effect, regardless of the time of death.

If writing the same name on more than two Death Notes is completed within a 0.06-second difference, it is regarded as simultaneous; the Death Note will not take effect and the individual written will not die.”

There is a 23-day rule…but I’ve forgotten what that is.

Well, I think I do remember that the rules of death once writen cannot be changed, thus the second entry would be invalid, making L still alive.
