   That’s a spoiler!

   From what I know, the first movie doesn’t end there. It’s the second movie that L dies.

   So it ends when Light gives up the DN in the cell? That’s the only probable thing since the next arc is another long story.

   Nope. It ends with an alternate version of Light meeting L.
