Bloggers get sued eh?

General September 14th, 2005 @ 0143h

Well, some idiotic bloggers got themselves slapped on the back when they were sued for posting racist comments. Though this kind of shocked me, I must say I apporve of this action though the rest of the world apparently doesn’t.

Reading some of the comments there really pisses me off. They don’t understand the touchiness of racial issues here and there they go on babbling about Singapore. Yes, Singapore is a FINE country and I ackowledge that and yes the government is strict and I do admit that. BUT, do not talk about something that you do not know a lot about as if you are correct.

This brought be to search the net for Michael Fay. The site is a listing of all the newspaper cutouts. You might want to read some of them. It annoys me to read some of the comments by the Americans. I went “TMD” a few times during the whole process.

This comment kind of sums up what I feel..

Panic?

General September 10th, 2005 @ 0255h

This week is ending as we draw close to September 11.

Revision work is…. let’s not talk about it.

Beginning tomorrow, I will begin full scale chemistry revision – god, I just don’t like chemistry. QA is going to kill me. Practical next monday is going to kill me too.

Permutations and Combinations simply SUCK. I mean I can’t even check if the answer I get is truly correct. There’s just no way to check. It’s a get-it-or-lose-it kind of question.

Mr brown’s new commentary!! XD Same as usual – hidden pins beneath the humour.

"The Maid"

General September 7th, 2005 @ 2337h

Today is probably the only day that I am able to go out and watch movies.

Watched “The Maid” with Xun Yong. Been wanting to watch this for a while but never got the chance to. I will rate it 8/10 which is very good considered it’s a local show. The only drawback though is that the movie spent too much time scaring the audience at the start of the show up to the point that the audience will think that it has no plot.

When the plot does start to develop, the movie becomes exciting.Well, I will not spoil you for the plot and anyway, the trailers don’t even mention anything about the plot of the whole movie.

Yea, one non-Jack-Neo film and it makes it’s way to a possible Hollywood remake. ^^

File Packing

General September 7th, 2005 @ 0043h

Woot, I packed all my papers from last year till now into their respective subjects. The whole thing took me from 3 pm to like 6 pm. Now everything is organized and I can revise more efficiently. *phew*

Went to that company’s super deserted office to get the DVD writer fixed. Apparently, they need “one or two weeks” to get it fixed. Fine. Since it’s still during the exams, it doesn’t affect me much.

WoW is so damn expensive… >_>

Neo-Pearl-Harbour-Reverse Effect?

General September 5th, 2005 @ 1836h

This article looks interesting. So, what do you think?

Personally, I think the US should strike a balance between its policies – taking care of both its internal problems as well as itswar on anti-terrorism . If they repeated their post-WWI and pre-WWII policy of isolation, I don’t know what will happen. Sure, those Islamic extremist will lost their justification of comitting acts of terrorisms against the West, but I shudder to think that this might cause a repetition of the events that led to WWII.

Anyway, I called the technical helpline for my DVD-Writer drive. The call was not helpful. I should not have even bothered to call other than to bring it down to the company itself for fixing… <_<

On a side note, I revised Chemistry. An achievement considering that I am usually lazy during holidays.. XD

Boring

General September 3rd, 2005 @ 2126h

IT WORKS! OMG IT WORKS!!!! XD

I was bored so I went to do an almost spam proof “Contact Me” page. You can go and try it out. Of course, you can tell me if you encounter any problems.

This paranoid over spam is due to me being very bored.

[Preliminary 2005] Day 4

General September 3rd, 2005 @ 0205h

The practical was OK. Nothing too difficult. I hope I didn’t make any silly mistakes – I took extra steps to ensure that.

Start of Holidays – or so it is called.

Now, I seriously need to reorganise my MSN contact list.

Boring to read? Too BAD!

Happy Teachers’ Day!

General September 1st, 2005 @ 1926h

Yesterday’s concert at school was not bad. Actually, I can say it is one of the best ever concert to be organized by the school ini my 4 years of school life. Miss Fang went to school in Chen Mei Guang styled clothes and many others dressed in some really cool looking Retro looking clotbes ^^ Mrs. Tan!!!!

The food we brought were as usual, too much. Mdm Ilyana was like the queen there XD I’ll get some photos from Nita to post here next time perhaps…

Can anyone tell me whatthere is to study for Physics Practical?

Anyway, nifty stuff for MSN Messenger 7.5.
