CIP today. Went some Old Fols’ home. I must say, I have visited another Old Folks’ home during primary school and being there now is a different experience. We helped feed some of the elderlies and there is one particular one who made a lot of noises. Jia Xu managed to find a sort of pattern in his/her refusal to eat and managed to feed him/her the food.

There was another lady who kept on talking and talking about her past after helping us “read our palms” and I can’t really make any sense out of what she’s saying cos it’s in cantonese.

Prelims schedule is out. One whole month of hell awaits!

Well, I’ve slacked one week away without doing much work. Sigh.

I have a conspiracy theory: Google wants to take over the world.

The seattle based company has been covering almost every aspect of the world with their excellent service. From the web to the news, from your browser to your desktop, from the Earth to the moon, from your email to your blog and now even from maps to your local stuff! The list goes on more, more, more.

Isn’t this evident that they are trying to take over the world in their googlism?

OK, I was bored and wrote this up just to show you the many things Google has to offer. Of course they aren’t plotting a world takeover! I use Google for a lot of stuff and I must say they are good ^^

This is truly a day of slacking. Went to school to find it mostly empty cos the Sec 1-3 are out for E-Learning…

LHC has a two day MC. Woot. And Miss Goh, so it was almost 4 periods of free preiods until a relief teacher came in for Chemistry practical.

There was this VJC talk today and though my mind is quite fixed on VJ (HCJC only if I get 6 ^^), I still went for it. Well, there’s the usual talking about how good the school is etc. The school is kinda accessible for me too.

On my way back, a certain old geezer attempted to sell me 4D… VERY FUNNY.

No, she isn’t devoiced on IRC but in real life. Apparently, she felt feverish today and decided not to talk for the lesson and instead teach via writing. It was better than I thought because she managed to complete one part of column vectors which she would also have done so if she still had her voice.

English oral was OK though I stuttered here and there and added or subtracted words from the essay I was reading. I hope I did not use any bad English duirng the oral?

Well, what should I write? CS’s new phone is very cool! It has an MP3 player with a vibrator that can sort of emulate a sub-woofer plus the camera image quality is crystal clear with the ability to zoom! I want! Fiona has a 500+ Ipod 20GB Photo. So rich.

Hehe, not much stuff left eh? I am not handing in Zuo Wen probably tomorrow too! Laziness rocks!

I have officially decided to not support NKF a few years ago and it seems like the recent matters have gotten big. While I think the CEO’s salary is OK, though it’s a bit too high, I do not like the lack of transparency with the NKF.

Got Newtype August finally, I think it was already there long ago. It’s just that I didn’t see it under the stack of other stuff piled on it. I’m not gonna scan it since someone else has done so, click here to read more on it.

Math test was OK, I have some mistakes here and there. Finally, no more tests for this week!

Phew, there are tests tomorrow and I still braved my time to code this, well after I have finished studying of course.

It is kinda buggy now and I might need to test it more.

Basically, this feature allows you to add a “Read More” kind of links for entries shown on the main page to avoid clutter and will only reveal the contents in the single entries page. Well, here’s a test, the cut will contain the REGEX expressions I used, You can use them if you want

/<cut([\=]{0,1}[^>]+?)>(.+?)<\/cut>/ism

This only works on complete cuts (ie <cut>yadayada</cut>)

Go figure out incomplete cuts for yourself
